Some questions frequently asked by users : 2012 honda civic exl vs 2013 honda civic ex?
both come to 20,000 the 2012 has 17,000 miles on it but comes with leather, navigation, bluetooth, the 2013 has 8,000 miles on it but doesn't have leather or navigation. if anyone owns a 2012 civic are they really as bad as reviews say they areis this a deal on a honda civic 2012?
i requested a quote on a 2012 civic sedan lx and a possible sunroof. msrp is $19,425 and i was offered the car for $17,455 with the sunroof costing $1,260.00 and a doc fee of $250.00. should i send him a counter offer? the sunroof price seems a bit high.does a 2012 honda civic have push to start?
i'm sixteen and looking for a car and i need to stay under $8,500. i really want a car that has some newer features like a backup camera, buttons on the steering wheel for music playing on your phone via bluetooth, things like that. i'm thinking i'm being way too picky for what i'm paying. i don't just want these "toys" i do want a gar that gets good gas mileage and a decent amount of miles on it. i've been looking a lot at honda's but are there any other cars that you could recommend that possibly have some of these things but is still a good car? 2012 honda civic dx sedan 4dopen question: just bought a 2012 honda civic ex 40000 miles. good deal?
so i guess i'm just looking for reassurance or some bad news. i just bought a certified pre owned 2012 honda civic ex sedan with 40,000 miles. it's white with dark interior, came with sunroof, bluetooth and other extras like visors, mud flaps, premium alloy wheels, floor matts. no accidents, one owner and all services done at the dealer. also came with 6 free oil changes. and as far as a warranty it came with honda verified 100,00mile 7 years, i had them add bumper to bumper 6 years for 7 bucks a month so long story short. everything said and done its $200/72months, after $1500 down and $400 for trade in (surprised i got anything). did i get a good deal?how do you get an out the door price $3000-5000 below msrp on a new car?
i've read online from people online sharing their car buying experience and some have snagged some amazing deals. a person states that her friend last summer bought a new 2012 honda civic lx $5000 below msrp during summer as the out the door price. how in the world do people negotiate that sort of deal? i've been to 3 dealers and contacted 7 more & the best otd was about $19,100 for an new 2013 civic lx (msrp $19755). otd is the grand fee including all costs. i've used a yahoo answers equation & my otd would be about 19.5k so $19,100 is still better. all vehicle registration = $1545 according to the dmv calculator doc. fee = $55 avg. ca *max is 85 by law dealer fee = he hasn't given it, only the otd. *varies, but some don't charge it. otd: around $19,100 anyway i can get any lower? is this even a good deal? i got another otd of $19.4k with free lifetime oil changes. i only plan to keep the car for like 7 years max. the lowest quote i received was $16695 w only the honda destination & handeling fee. the otd as stated by the manager was $18700, but he wasn't there when i came tonight because it was easter weekend.the salesman raised it to $19425 otd. bs because he said it comes with a 3-yr security fee for $955. he was now adding it in to make up for the lost profit. still, all honda dealers get a 2% holdback on their msrp. yes, i'm aware of better deals on the last week of the month & speaking to their managers. better it you can get an otd online to have proof.
